Job Summary

We are hiring for multiple Skilled Trade Opportunities with a precision metal fabrication and contract manufacturing organization in Santa Ana, CA. These direct hire openings support the production of metal parts, enclosures, cabinets, racks, and assemblies for OEM customers across aerospace, defense, power infrastructure, renewable energy, data centers, medical equipment, electronics, telecommunications, and industrial manufacturing.

Available opportunities may include Brake Operator, Welding Operator, Deburr/Shake Out, Grinding, Hardware, Masker, Laser Operator, Paint, QC/Tooling Cage, and Silkscreen roles. This is a strong opportunity for skilled manufacturing professionals who have recent hands-on experience and are ready to contribute immediately in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate or support assigned fabrication, machining, finishing, inspection, or production equipment based on department needs.
- Read and follow work instructions, production travelers, drawings, and quality requirements to complete assigned work accurately.
- Perform hands-on tasks such as braking, welding, deburring, grinding, masking, laser operation, painting, hardware installation, tooling support, silkscreen, or quality control duties.
- Inspect parts and assemblies for workmanship, dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and compliance with customer specifications.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following shop safety procedures and production standards.
- Work independently to meet daily production goals while supporting team members and communicating issues to supervisors.

Compensation and Benefits
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Salary range: $45,760 to $74,500 per year.
- Location: Santa Ana, CA.
- Schedule: 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
- Overtime may be required, including starting at 4:00 AM, staying later, and working Saturdays.
- Multiple openings available.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Operate skilled trade equipment or perform specialized production work in metal fabrication, machining, finishing, welding, quality, or related shop operations.
- Complete assigned work accurately according to production requirements, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Inspect finished or in-process parts to ensure they meet customer, dimensional, and workmanship requirements.
- Work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with minimal supervision.

- 1 to 2 years of recent relevant experience in the applicable skilled trade area.
- Must have strong recent hands-on experience and be able to hit the ground running.
- Must be able to work independently with limited training.
- Experience in precision metal fabrication, contract manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or industrial manufacturing is highly relevant.
- Must meet ITAR requirements, including being a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to quality are required.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions, production standards, and safety procedures.
- Must be available for overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
- Recent experience in aerospace, defense, precision sheet metal, metal fabrication, or OEM contract manufacturing is preferred.
- Prior experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: brake operation, welding, deburr, shake out, grinding, hardware installation, masking, laser operation, painting, QC, tooling cage, or silkscreen.
