Position: Shipping and Receiving / Warehouse Worker
Workplace Type: On-site, Warehouse
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (training hours may vary)
Compensation: $21–$23 per hour, depending on experience

Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Warehouse Worker to support daily shipping, receiving, and material-handling operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency with measurement tools and warehouse equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience operating saws, forklifts, and cranes, along with a mechanical aptitude. Your qualifying experience should be reflected in your resume.

Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with heavy equipment and metal processing tools. They should be capable of managing multiple tasks, maintaining safety standards, and supporting both shipping and receiving operations.

Equipment & Skills Requirements
• Ability to use a tape measure with accuracy.
• Experience operating saws is strongly preferred; training is available for qualified candidates.
• Ability to operate a forklift and crane is required.
• Mechanical background is highly beneficial.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, climbing, and balancing.
• Basic math skills, including working with decimals and fractions.
• Ability to maintain precise piece counts and chemical traceability.

Key Responsibilities
• Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
• Pull, organize, and prepare customer orders.
• Process, package, and stage orders in an accurate and timely manner.
• Unload and receive materials from vendor trucks.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and proper storage practices.
• Communicate with the sales team to ensure deadlines are met.
• Assist the driver with daily truck runs.
• Use a tape measure to verify precise tolerances and measurements.
• Pull items per work order, load them onto conveyors, and operate saw equipment.
• Convert fractional measurements to decimals and enter data into machine systems.
• Remove processed parts from machinery and prepare them for shipment.
• Build wooden shipping crates using hand and power tools, including hammers, screw guns, and nail guns.
• Serve as a professional point of contact for customers when needed.
• Adjust work schedule as required to meet changing deadlines.
• Uphold safety standards and maintain warehouse organization.
