Job Title: Shipping/Receiving Associate
Contract: Temporary to Perm
Location: New Haven, CT
Reports To: Client Services Supervisor/Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable individual to join our team as a Shipping/Receiving Associate. You will work in a fast-paced hospital shipping/receiving department, including loading dock operations. Responsibilities include processing incoming and outgoing shipments, delivering packages to hospital staff, and managing shipment documentation through an electronic system. This role requires extended periods of walking and standing.

Schedule & Pay:
• Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Pay rate: $18.25 /hr - $23.09 /hr

Responsibilities:
• Process incoming and outgoing hospital shipments accurately and efficiently.
• Deliver packages to end-users within the hospital in a timely manner.
• Manage shipment documentation using an electronic receiving system.
• Operate loading dock equipment and handle packages safely.
• Perform regular walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting as required.
• Maintain organized work areas and ensure proper filing of shipment records.
• Provide excellent customer service to hospital staff and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with moving or positioning equipment weighing up to 50-55 lbs., as needed.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required; 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
• Some shipping/receiving or copy job experience preferred.
