Job Summary

We are seeking dependable Shipping Warehouse Clerks for a full-time, temp to hire opportunity in Shreveport, LA. This role supports a parts department in a smaller, climate-controlled warehouse environment where accuracy, organization, and teamwork are essential.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on warehouse work, inventory tracking, shipping and receiving, and taking ownership of daily responsibilities. Key Responsibilities

- Receive, inspect, and check in packages from UPS, FedEx, LTL freight carriers, and other delivery services.
- Verify incoming inventory, label parts, categorize items, and ensure accurate electronic tracking.
- Enter inventory data into the computer system with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Organize stock and place materials in the correct warehouse or parts department locations.
- Maintain a clean, accurate, and well-organized inventory area.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, warehouse support, and occasional local deliveries or pickups as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $14.00 to $15.00 per hour, depending on experience and required skills.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire.
- Work Environment: Smaller, climate-controlled facility.



Required Qualifications and Skills

- Receive, verify, and process incoming packages and LTL freight shipments.
- Track inventory electronically and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Label, categorize, organize, and stock parts in designated locations.
- Support shipping, receiving, warehouse organization, and parts department operations.
- 1 to 2 years of related warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, parts, or similar hands-on experience.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to enter data accurately.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Ability to learn inventory systems and computer tracking processes.
- Dependable work habits, strong work ethic, and reliable attendance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable work references.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous shipping, warehouse, receiving, inventory, or parts department experience.
- Experience receiving LTL freight shipments.
- Comfort working in a smaller warehouse environment where accuracy and ownership are important.
- Ability to assist with occasional local deliveries or pickups.
