Job Summary

We are seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Fenton, MO. This role is ideal for a dependable warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing professional with hands-on shipping and receiving experience, forklift skills, and knowledge of shipping documentation and transportation processes.

The Shipping & Receiving Associate will support daily warehouse operations by processing incoming receipts, preparing outbound shipping documents, operating powered industrial equipment, and helping ensure materials move accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities

- Process incoming shipments, receipts, and related inventory documentation accurately and on time.
- Generate and review shipping documents, including Bills of Lading, pick tickets, and packing lists.
- Support outbound shipment planning using transportation management processes and systems.
- Operate powered industrial trucks, including forklifts, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Assist with material handling, packaging, staging, and movement of products within the facility.
- Follow shipping, receiving, safety, and transportation compliance procedures.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $21.50 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire, 9-month assignment.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Location: Fenton, MO 63026.
- Worksite: On-site.



Required Qualifications and Skills

- Process incoming receipts and support accurate shipping and receiving workflows.
- Prepare shipping documents, including Bills of Lading, pick tickets, and packing lists.
- Support shipment planning and transportation management system functions.
- Operate forklifts and handle materials safely in a production or warehouse environment.

- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or production operations experience preferred.
- Experience with incoming receipt processing and outbound shipping documentation required.
- Knowledge of shipment planning functions and transportation management systems required.
- Powered Industrial Truck experience, including forklift operation, required.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills required, including Excel, Word, Snag-It, and PowerPoint.
- Basic transportation knowledge required, including 49 CFR, IATA, IMDG, and RCRA.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repetitively and up to 70 lbs. occasionally.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, safety awareness, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- SAP experience preferred.
