Job Summary
We are looking for a Shipping Clerk opportunity is available in Dublin, CA. This role is ideal for an experienced shipping, receiving, or warehouse professional who understands the importance of accuracy, documentation, and timely movement of materials in a regulated or quality-focused environment.
The Shipping Clerk will support daily logistics operations by preparing shipments, verifying documentation, coordinating inventory movement, and helping maintain an organized and compliant warehouse workflow. Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, package, label, and process outgoing shipments according to company procedures and carrier requirements.
- Receive, inspect, document, and route incoming materials, supplies, and products accurately.
- Maintain shipping and receiving records, packing slips, bills of lading, and related logistics documentation.
- Support warehouse organization, inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and proper material handling practices.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely fulfillment, accurate order processing, and smooth daily workflow.
- Follow safety, quality, and compliance procedures appropriate for a biotechnology or pharmaceutical warehouse environment.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Prepare and process domestic shipments, including labeling, packaging, documentation, and carrier coordination.
- Receive and verify incoming materials while maintaining accurate inventory and warehouse records.
- Support shipping, receiving, warehousing, and material movement activities in a quality-focused environment.
- Maintain compliance with safety, documentation, and operational procedures.
- 6 to 10 years of relevant shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or materials handling experience.
- Strong understanding of shipping documentation, receiving procedures, inventory control, and warehouse organization.
- Ability to work accurately with packing slips, shipment records, labels, and related logistics paperwork.
- Experience using warehouse systems, shipping software, scanners, or inventory tracking tools is helpful.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow established procedures.
- Ability to communicate clearly with warehouse, operations, quality, and customer support teams.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, timeliness, and compliance are important.
- Ability to lift, move, stage, and handle materials as required for shipping and receiving operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, life sciences, or another regulated warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with GMP, quality system requirements, lot control, or traceability practices.
- Experience working with FedEx, UPS, DHL, freight carriers, or similar shipping platforms.
- Forklift, pallet jack, or material handling equipment experience.
