Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 5:30 PM
Compensation
• $40,000-$50,000 annually for candidates without industry experience
• Highly experienced Service Writers may earn up to $80,000 or more, depending on experience.
We are a recruiting and staffing agency partnering with a well-established automotive service company to fill a direct hire Service Writer position. This role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to learn.
Position Overview
The Service Writer will work as part of a front office team of three, supporting daily operations and ensuring excellent customer service from check-in to service completion. The office team works collaboratively to maintain coverage throughout business hours.
Key Responsibilities
• Greet customers and serve as the primary point of contact
• Communicate service needs between customers and technicians
• Create and manage service orders accurately in the system
• Utilize available resources to locate information and resolve questions
• Maintain clear communication and follow-up with customers
• Support overall front office operations as part of a team environment
Qualifications
• Automotive industry experience preferred but not required
• Ability to learn quickly and retain new information
• Strong computer skills and comfort working in digital systems
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Dependable work ethic and team-oriented mindset
• Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus but not required
