Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Writer to join our automotive shop. This role serves as a key point of contact between customers and the service team, ensuring a smooth, professional, and efficient service experience from start to finish.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM – 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
-Greet customers and assist them with service needs in a friendly and professional manner
-Accurately document vehicle concerns and service requests
-Communicate clearly with technicians and team members-
-Utilize computer systems to create service tickets, look up information, and manage customer records
-Follow up with customers as needed and provide updates on service status
-Maintain a strong attention to detail and organized work flow in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications & Skills:
-Automotive experience is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate
-Ability to learn quickly, retain information, and use available resources to find answers when needed
-Strong computer skills and comfort working with digital systems
-Excellent customer service and communication skills
-Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well as part of a team
-Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required
