A global leader in professional audio technology is seeking a Service Technician I to join its repair and service team in Nashville, TN. This role is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and documenting service work on professional audio and electronic equipment including wireless systems, microphones, headphones, speakers, digital audio interfaces, and networking devices.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with electronics repair, bench technician, test technician, or audio equipment repair experience.
Responsibilities
- Review customer service orders and inspect equipment to determine required repairs
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on electronic products
- Conduct board-level repairs, including soldering and component replacement
- Determine warranty eligibility based on company guidelines
- Complete repair documentation accurately within the service management system
- Perform preventive maintenance and repair services according to quality standards
- Communicate repair findings and technical information as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma, vocational training, or equivalent experience
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment
- Ability to diagnose issues at the board/component level
- Soldering experience preferred
- Familiarity with electronic test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
