In this role, you'll install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial overhead doors, gates, operators, access control systems, and related equipment for a variety of commercial and industrial clients. Responsibilities:
Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial overhead doors, gates, operators, and access control systems. Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections on commercial door and gate systems. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications. Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with industry standards and company policies. Complete service reports, work orders, and other required documentation accurately and on time. Maintain an organized service vehicle with the tools, parts, and equipment needed for daily assignments. Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs, maintenance recommendations, and system operation. Respond to emergency service calls and assist with special projects as needed. Mentor and support less experienced technicians when appropriate.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience installing, servicing, and repairing commercial garage doors, gates, or related systems. Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and installation specifications. Experience utilizing manufacturer technical support to diagnose and resolve equipment issues. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple service calls. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to safely lift heavy materials and work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments.
Preferred Qualifications: Fire door certification Manufacturer-specific certifications Welding experience or certification Experience with commercial access control and automated gate systems
