About the Role
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Service Technician to support inspection, repair, and calibration of customer instruments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, problem-solving, and delivering a high-quality customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate precision instruments
Follow detailed service procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency
Communicate with customers via phone and email regarding service needs and updates
Prepare repair estimates, documentation, and service reports
Coordinate shipping and occasional loaner equipment
Maintain accurate service logs and assist with process improvements
Perform occasional local site visits for inspections
Required Qualifications
2–3 years of experience in a service technician or similar technical repair role
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication (written and verbal)
High attention to detail and ability to follow structured procedures
Self-motivated, organized, and team-oriented
Valid driver’s license
Preferred (Nice to Have)
Bilingual in Japanese or Spanish
Experience in scientific, food/beverage, agriculture, or lab environments
Bachelor’s degree or technical training
