OA Reference: Service & Maintenance Manager
We are hiring a "Service & Maintenance Manager" that oversees all service, maintenance, and field operations for an engineering services firm. This role ensures high-quality service delivery, operational reliability, regulatory compliance, and strong coordination between supervisors, technicians, clients, and internal departments. The manager is accountable for planning, scheduling, performance, safety, and continuous improvement across both service groups.
SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday 8 am - 5 pm
SALARY: $70,000 - $82,000 per year
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage the Service & Maintenance Department, setting priorities, KPIs, and performance expectations.
- Oversee daily operations including scheduling, preventive maintenance, and field resource coordination.
- Ensure efficient service delivery, high technical standards, and compliance with contracts and company goals.
- Provide technical guidance on instrumentation, control systems, CHP generators, and mechanical maintenance.
- Monitor performance, identify gaps, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and uptime.
- Manage client relationships, resolve escalations, and support audits, meetings, and site visits.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations (OSHA), environmental standards, and company policies.
- Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, technicians, and operators; support hiring and training initiatives.
- Manage departmental budgets, approve purchases, and oversee service proposals and contract renewals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5–10 years of field operations experience, including 3+ years in leadership roles.
- Experience with instrumentation, control systems, mechanical equipment, or CHP systems preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to travel.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
