We are seeking a dedicated Service Desk Support Specialist to join our on-site team in Chattanooga, TN. This is a temporary role through September 30, 2025, offering a great opportunity to build valuable experience in technical support within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external customers, providing tier one technical support and exceptional customer service.
• Troubleshoot incidents and service requests via phone, chat, and email using the Service Desk Manager ITSM platform and internal knowledge base.
• Support a wide range of IT needs, including application software, system software, desktop/PC hardware, telephony hardware, internet network, storage network, WAN network, and security access management, while adhering to regulatory and HIPAA requirements.
• Record, track, and manage the full lifecycle of all requests and incidents, ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow-up.
• Proactively gather and validate detailed information to resolve issues or escalate to the appropriate teams as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company services and continuously seek opportunities for process improvements and service optimization.
• Complete and maintain required technical certifications, including Support Center Analyst and ITIL Foundation, within the first 12 months of employment.
Qualifications:
• Associate’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience required.
• Minimum of 2 years of end-user technical support and/or call center experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
• Ability to support users with a wide range of technical abilities in a 24x7x365 work environment, including mandatory rotating weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
