Key Responsibilities
Senior Audit/Assurance Accountant:
Lead and execute audits and assurance engagements
Develop audit programs and perform risk assessments
Prepare accurate financial statements and reports
Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development
Maintain knowledge of GAAP, auditing standards, and industry best practices
Audit/Assurance Manager:
Oversee multiple audit/assurance engagements across various industries
Review workpapers, reports, and technical memos
Manage client relationships and provide strategic insights
Guide teams, manage deadlines, and ensure audit quality standards
Contribute to business development and staff performance evaluations
Senior Tax Accountant:
Prepare complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships
Conduct tax planning and research for clients in various industries
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Identify tax-saving strategies and recommend solutions to clients
Support IRS and state tax audits as needed
Senior Tax Manager:
Manage and review high-level tax engagements and returns
Develop strategic tax planning solutions for high-net-worth individuals and businesses
Lead client meetings, address technical tax issues, and provide consultative advice
Supervise and develop a team of tax professionals
Stay ahead of regulatory changes and help clients mitigate risk and maximize opportunities
Qualifications (All Roles)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation
CPA license required (or actively pursuing for Senior roles)
Minimum experience:
Senior level: 3–5 years in public accounting or relevant field
Manager level: 6+ years with demonstrated leadership and client management
Strong understanding of GAAP, auditing standards, and/or U.S. tax code
Proficiency in accounting software; ERP and tax platforms (e.g., CCH Axcess, GoSystem, ProSystem fx) a plus
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, modeling, etc.)
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
