Tax Senior Manager

We are seeking a Tax Senior Manager who is actively engaged in social and civic clubs, well-versed in the community, and experienced in business development.

Schedule:
Hybrid work arrangement: typically three days in the office per week. For the first 90 days, the role requires being in the office every day (subject to confirmation).

Role Overview:
The Tax Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing tax compliance, planning, and consulting services for a diverse client base. This position leads and mentors tax teams, reviews complex tax returns, manages client relationships, and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. The Tax Senior Manager uses their expertise to advise clients and build trusted advisor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead clients and teams with excellence in project management and relationship development.
Advise clients on a variety of tax issues, ensuring successful completion of tax planning, advisory, accounting, and compliance projects while maintaining focus on client service excellence.
Develop and mentor a team of tax consultants and subject matter experts to ensure exceptional client service.
Cultivate existing client relationships and identify opportunities for new business development.

Qualifications:

7+ years of tax experience within a public accounting or consulting firm, or equivalent industry tax leadership experience.
CPA, EA license, or another recognized certification required.
Client-oriented work ethic with a commitment to high-quality results.
Strong strategic, analytical, and conceptual skills, with creative problem-solving ability and a passion for helping clients.
Experience in healthcare, financial institutions, real estate, professional services, or manufacturing is a plus, though not required.
