We're seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to lead client engagements, review complex tax returns, and guide a team of talented tax professionals. This isn’t just compliance, it's strategic advisory, mentorship, and long-term client partnership.
Responsibilities:
- Review income tax returns prepared by staff accountants (this must be shown on your resume).
- Lead tax compliance and advisory services for partnerships, corporations, and S-corporations ranging from growing small businesses to mid-sized companies up to $50M revenue.
- Manage a portfolio of diverse clients with varying scopes and industries.
- Supervise and mentor tax teams providing technical guidance and quality control.
- Provide smart, high-quality tax solutions and advice to clients.
- Apply your knowledge of GAAP, Federal, State, and U.S. International tax laws.
- Conduct tax research and ensure accurate, timely filings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- Proven experience reviewing tax returns completed by other accountants.
- Strong background in corporate taxation, partnerships, intercompany transactions, estates, and trusts.
- Familiarity with international tax is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus)
- No CPA required.
