Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the preparation and review of federal, state, and multi-state tax returns (individual, business, nonprofit, trust & estate, and more)

Review complex tax filings, projections, estimates, and property tax returns

Provide proactive tax planning and advisory services to clients

Analyze complex tax matters and deliver strategic solutions

Support financial statement preparation and review

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency

Stay current with evolving tax laws and accounting regulations

Mentor and develop junior staff, offering guidance and technical expertise

Help drive business development by nurturing client relationships and identifying opportunities

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (Master’s in Accounting or Taxation preferred)

Strong expertise in multi-state business tax, individual tax, nonprofit, foreign tax, and trust & estate

In-depth knowledge of federal and state tax laws

Proven experience reviewing and preparing a wide range of tax returns

Strong leadership and mentoring skills

Excellent communication and client service abilities

CPA certification strongly preferred
