Qualifications
3-5+ years of experience in tax services within public accounting
Experience at the Senior, Supervisor, or Manager level
CPA license, EA license, or active progress toward CPA or EA certification
Experience supervising, training, mentoring, or reviewing staff work
Strong knowledge of tax compliance, tax preparation, and tax research
Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines
Proficiency with:
Microsoft Excel
Microsoft Word
Microsoft Outlook
Tax and accounting software platforms

Responsibilities
Lead tax engagements from planning through completion
Review tax returns, workpapers, and supporting documentation
Research complex tax matters and provide recommendations to clients
Serve as a primary point of contact for client relationships
Manage engagement timelines, workflow, and deliverables
Supervise, coach, and develop junior staff
Identify opportunities to expand services within existing client accounts
Participate in training, professional development, and business development initiatives
Maintain high standards of client service and technical quality
Represent the firm in professional and community organizations as appropriate
