About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in tax compliance, reporting, and analysis who thrives in a collaborative, in-office environment. The Senior Tax Accountant will play a key role in managing complex tax matters, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and supporting strategic business decisions.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships

Conduct tax research and stay current on changing tax laws and regulations

Assist with tax planning strategies to optimize financial outcomes

Support audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities

Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to resolve tax issues

Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff members

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)

4+ years of progressive tax accounting experience

Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations

Proficiency with tax preparation software and MS Excel

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
