We’re seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Tax Accountant to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll take the lead on complex tax matters, provide expert guidance to clients and internal teams, and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships
Conduct thorough tax research and provide accurate, timely advice on various tax issues
Assist clients with tax planning to optimize financial outcomes and minimize liabilities
Review and ensure accuracy of work prepared by junior team members
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and industry best practices
Represent clients in communications with tax authorities as needed
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless client service delivery
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA designation required)
5+ years of progressive tax accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting firm
Strong knowledge of tax compliance, tax planning, and research tools
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite
