Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
3-5 years of consecutive professional accounting experience
Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting principles
Experience managing month-end close processes
Knowledge of internal controls, audits, compliance, and reconciliations
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Preferred Qualifications:
Industry experience in Agriculture or Oil & Gas
Experience supporting both internal and external audits
Background in budget analysis and financial statement preparation

Responsibilities
Perform month-end and year-end close activities
Prepare recurring journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy
Manage fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules
Process allocations, fuel entries, and cash transfers
Record and reconcile daily cash receipts and bank deposits
Reconcile intercompany accounts receivable and company advances
Complete balance sheet reconciliations, including:
Prepaid expenses
Payroll taxes and garnishments
Tree and vine deposits
Other assigned accounts
Prepare budget-to-actual variance analyses and provide explanations
Assist with year-end tax preparation activities
Support internal and external audit requests
Help develop, implement, and maintain accounting controls and compliance procedures
Prepare accurate, GAAP-compliant financial statements and supporting schedules
Collaborate with accounting and operational teams to improve financial processes
