We are hiring Senior Staff Accountants in Bakersfield, CA for a full-time, on-site role offering 75k up to $120,000 annually (DOE). This position is ideal for candidates with strong accounting experience who want to step into leadership responsibilities while maintaining hands-on financial work.
You will play a key role in month-end close, financial reporting, AP/AR oversight, and process improvements. A standard Monday–Friday schedule provides work-life balance, with occasional overtime and predictable hours.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications
5–7 years of experience (supervisory experience preferred)
Previous experience supervising or mentoring accounting staff
Experience in professional services or manufacturing environments
Exposure to process improvement or systems implementation
