Job Title: Senior Property Manager – Multi-Family Real Estate

About the Role:
Are you an experienced Senior Property Manager with a passion for operational excellence and leadership in multi-family property management? Our client, a boutique real estate and asset management company in Bellevue, WA, is looking for a dynamic individual to oversee property operations, staff performance, financial reporting, and tenant satisfaction across multiple properties in the Greater Puget Sound area.

You’ll work from a unique office setting on a horse farm (must love animals!) and play a pivotal leadership role in ensuring properties are financially sound, well-maintained, and fully leased.

Responsibilities:
?? Operations & Maintenance
Supervise daily operations and maintenance across properties.

Conduct regular property inspections and walk-throughs.

Ensure compliance with leases, rules, regulations, and local/state housing laws.

Maintain organized digital and physical property files.

?? Financial Management
Analyze P&L statements, budget comparisons, and financial KPIs.

Provide monthly and quarterly reports to ownership.

Oversee rent surveys, budgeting, and forecasting.

?? Leadership & Staff Management
Lead, mentor, and supervise offsite and junior property managers.

Collaborate with owners to align with financial and operational goals.

Oversee hiring, training, and staff performance reviews.

???????? Tenant & Lease Administration
Manage lease renewals, rule enforcement, and customer satisfaction.

Ensure resolution of tenant issues and complaints in a timely manner.

Oversee marketing efforts and property website accuracy.

??? Capital Improvement Oversight
Supervise maintenance coordinator and vendors.

Prioritize and manage property upgrades and special projects.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Property Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Minimum 3 years (preferably 6+) experience in senior-level property management of multi-family units.

Proficient in AppFolio and/or other property management software (e.g., Propertyware, QuickBooks).

Strong knowledge of Washington State eviction law and FHA regulations.

Demonstrated experience with budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting.

Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.

Comfortable managing a dog-friendly office on a rural property.

Tech-savvy: MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), tablets, smartphones, OneNote.

Must live within 30 minutes of Bellevue, WA and have reliable transportation.

Ability to respond to emergency calls during evenings/weekends.

Physical ability to walk properties regularly.
