Senior Project Accounting Analyst
Location: Fontana, CA

Position Summary:
The Senior Project Accounting Analyst is responsible for accurate and timely billing for construction, hauling, recycling, and disposal services. This role reviews operational and project documentation to ensure invoices align with contracts, pricing, and approved change orders. The position also supports accounts receivable, collections, and lien administration to help secure timely payment.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and process accurate project-based invoices using QuickBooks (advanced proficiency required).
Review work orders, haul tickets, weight tickets, contracts, and change orders to ensure complete billing.
Maintain project and job costing records in QuickBooks.
Support accounts receivable and collections, including dispute resolution and follow-up on past-due balances.
Manage mechanic’s lien filings and conditional/unconditional lien waivers.
Assist with month-end close, billing reconciliations, and reporting.
Partner with operations and project managers to resolve billing discrepancies.


Mandatory Qualifications:
3–5 years of experience in construction or project-based billing, accounts receivable, or related roles.
Strong, hands-on QuickBooks experience (no training required).
Experience with construction and project billing.
Accounts receivable and collections experience.
Mechanic’s lien and lien waiver administration experience.
Experience with prevailing wage and Certified Payroll.

Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience in construction, recycling, waste management, hauling, logistics, or transportation.
Strong Excel, organizational, and analytical skills.
