Operations Manager – Warehouse & Distribution
About the Role

We’re seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to oversee and optimize all warehousing and distribution functions within our facility. This role requires a strong leader with a deep understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and warehouse operations. The right candidate will drive performance, ensure operational excellence, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement plans to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support company growth
Align daily operations with broader business goals
Customer Management
Act as the primary point of contact for key customer accounts
Address concerns with urgency and professionalism
Operational Oversight
Lead receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and returns
Ensure inventory accuracy, optimal space utilization, and timely order fulfillment
Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions as needed

Team & Culture Development:
Manage and mentor supervisors, leads, and warehouse staff
Promote a high-performance, safety-first culture

Facilities & Maintenance:
Partner with vendors and contractors on repairs, maintenance, and facility security
Oversee asset management and equipment upkeep

Compliance & Safety:
Ensure adherence to OSHA, company policies, and safety protocols
Work with HR to maintain safety training and incident response programs

Technology & Optimization:
Leverage WMS and other tools to streamline processes and improve accuracy
Recommend and implement operational tech solutions

Budget & Cost Control:
Manage department budget, monitor expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities

Qualifications:
Required:
5+ years’ experience in warehousing, logistics, or distribution
3+ years in a leadership role managing teams in a warehouse setting
Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and MS Office Suite
Proven track record of improving operations and hitting performance targets
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines

Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
Six Sigma or Lean Certification
Bilingual English/Spanish
