We are seeking a strategic and solutions-driven Senior IT Consultant to lead technology initiatives, optimize infrastructure, and provide expert guidance to support business objectives. This role partners closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to assess current systems, recommend improvements, and oversee the implementation of scalable, secure, and cost-effective technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze existing IT infrastructure, systems, and workflows to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
Design and implement enterprise-level IT solutions aligned with business strategy
Lead system migrations, cloud implementations, and infrastructure upgrades
Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical escalation support
Develop IT policies, procedures, and security best practices
Oversee cybersecurity risk assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards
Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and third-party service providers
Create documentation, reports, and executive-level recommendations
Mentor IT staff and support knowledge transfer across teams
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
7+ years of progressive IT experience, including infrastructure, networking, and systems administration
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or similar), virtualization, and cybersecurity frameworks
Experience with enterprise systems, migrations, and project leadership
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, PMP, ITIL, Microsoft, AWS)
Preferred Skills
Strategic planning and budgeting experience
Disaster recovery and business continuity planning
Advanced knowledge of networking, firewalls, and endpoint security
Experience supporting multi-site or enterprise environments
Please note: This role is required to be onsite through out Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties and will be client-facing.
