What You’ll Do:
As the Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation, resolving technical challenges on the floor, and improving our products through part standardization and cost-saving initiatives. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Sales, Purchasing, and Quality, while also supporting R&D to drive operational excellence and product innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update engineering drawings and documentation in the ERP system.
Conduct root cause analysis, hands-on testing, and troubleshooting.
Lead part standardization efforts across product lines to reduce cost and complexity.
Review and improve existing designs for efficiency, safety, and performance.
Work closely with production teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
Provide technical support to Sales and Customer Service.
Partner with Purchasing and Quality to identify alternative materials and suppliers.
Ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
Support new product introductions and legacy modifications.
Contribute to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
3+ years of experience in manufacturing or mechanical product development.
Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD software and ERP systems.
Hands-on experience with testing, troubleshooting, and process improvements.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
Prior experience with lift systems or material handling equipment is a plus.
