Senior Manager: Tax Advisory Group


Overview: As a Senior Manager within our Tax Advisory Group (TAG), you will play a pivotal role in client service leadership, team development, and strategic growth initiatives. You will serve as a trusted advisor to a diverse and sophisticated client base, while actively mentoring emerging talent and contributing to the broader goals of the firm.


Your Role Includes:

Leadership & Firm Contribution

· Serve on the TAG leadership team and contribute to the firm’s long-term succession strategy.

· Engage in leadership development programs through our affiliation with the RSM US Alliance.

· Play an active role in mentoring and developing future leaders within the department.

· Support firm-wide initiatives and help shape our evolving tax advisory practice.


Client Service & Technical Expertise

· Lead and manage client engagements while acting as a trusted advisor.

· Serve as a client service coordinator, collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

· Manage deliverables, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with professional standards.

· Stay current with federal and state tax regulations and apply critical thinking to complex scenarios.

· Demonstrate sound business judgment, ethical decision-making, and accountability.

· Contribute to the firm’s tax thought leadership and identify opportunities to meet evolving market demands.


Mentorship & Development

· Provide coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to junior staff.

· Encourage a culture of learning and development through on-the-job teaching.

· Support the identification and growth of future departmental leaders.

· Help drive team motivation and accountability toward departmental goals.
