A prestigious legal services organization in Upton area of Dallas is seeking a Senior Litigation Paralegal for a direct hire opportunity supporting complex litigation matters. Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex litigation matters from inception through post-trial proceedings, keeping case files, workspaces, and materials organized and client-ready.
- Oversee discovery, large-scale document reviews, deposition preparation, witness coordination, and related litigation support activities.
- Draft routine pleadings, subpoenas, and litigation documents while performing cite-checking and managing state and federal court e-filings.
- Conduct factual and legal research using Westlaw, Lexis, and other legal research platforms, including preparing reports, chronologies, and case summaries.
- Coordinate trial preparation, including trial notebooks, exhibit management, courtroom logistics, and direct support during trial.
Compensation and Benefits
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Salary range: $100,000 to $115,000 per year.
- Hybrid schedule: Monday through Thursday in office, work from home on Fridays.
- Location: Dallas, TX.
- Support complex litigation matters through discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and post-trial activity.
- Manage large document productions, deposition preparation, witness coordination, and exhibit organization.
- Prepare litigation filings, perform cite-checking, and manage state and federal e-filing requirements.
- Maintain accurate daily timekeeping records and comply with defense billing and client billing guidelines.
- 8 to 10 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in a law firm environment supporting complex litigation.
- Advanced hands-on experience with Relativity, Opus 2, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite, and state and federal e-filing systems.
- Defense billing experience is required, including accurate time entry and adherence to client billing guidelines.
- Proven trial experience, including exhibit management, witness coordination, trial notebooks, and collaboration with courtroom personnel.
- Strong ability to support highly tenured senior attorneys in a demanding, deadline-driven environment.
- Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent experience.
- Exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, professionalism, organization, and ability to manage competing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Paralegal Certificate or CP designation is highly preferred.
- Prior experience supporting high-stakes commercial litigation, complex civil litigation, or similar sophisticated litigation matters.
- Strong proficiency with legal research, case chronology development, and analytical litigation reports.
