Senior Graphic Designer for its Los Angeles-based office.
The ideal candidate must have up-to-date knowledge to interpret our clients’ needs, ability to design signage solutions with high visual impact, and have signage design and fabrication knowledge. This position is part graphic design and part technical design.
This is s Senior level position and are looking for someone who is ambitious and wants to grow with the company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implement design packages for local and national clients, ensuring maximum visibility / readability and adhering to maximum code allowance and functioning performance
• Manage signage design requests and survey notes to produce conceptual, permit, and production renderings that meet requirements and client needs
• Maximize workflow using a wide range of media and graphic design software
• Prepare conceptual designs options while providing creative / technical input and working within budget constraints
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Preferably MFA in Graphic Design or 4-Year degree in a related field such as B.S. Architecture
• 5 years of graphic design experience and preferably 3 years of signage industry experience
• Proficient using applicable software programs - Adobe CC (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), CAD Tools, CorelDraw x7
• Ability to provide a creative and original perspective for conceptual purposes when needed
• A working knowledge of various signage types, fabrication processes, structural engineering, materials, and installation procedures
• Ability to manage deadlines, manage project queue, and deliver projects on time • Ability to take clear direction and to be an effective communicator
• Fluency in reading architectural drawings plus
