**Job Title:** Senior Grant Writer

**Summary:**
The Senior Grant Writer researches and identifies foundation, corporate, and government grant opportunities and develops compelling grant applications to advance CLIENT’s strategic goals. This role contributes to CLIENT’s mission by ensuring high-quality grant submissions, maintaining strong relationships with funders, and supporting program design and evaluation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple deadlines while collaborating with internal teams to achieve organizational impact in behavioral health, case management, and early childhood services.

**Qualifications:**

**Education & Licenses:**

* Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field; Master’s preferred.
* Florida Driver’s License within 30 days of hire and daily access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
* Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.

**Experience:**

* Minimum of 5 years of successful federal, state, and foundation grant writing and administration.
* Experience in a social services nonprofit environment strongly preferred.
* Experience administering the grant writing process for social services nonprofits strongly preferred.
* Experience using fundraising/CRM systems.
* Preferred: experience training or supervising grant writing processes and delivering grant-writing workshops.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**

* Strong grant writing, research, and analytical skills.
* Knowledge of social services, nonprofit operations, and child welfare.
* Excellent planning, organization, project management, and time management skills.
* Effective oral and written communication; collaboration and teamwork.
* Ability to work independently and under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and high-quality service delivery.
* Passion for social service, empathy for children and families, and adaptability to change.

**Schedule:**

* Standard scheduled week with potential evenings, weekends, or holidays.
* Flexibility to meet business needs, including travel and remote availability.

**Work Environment & Physical Requirements:**

* Office, care facility, or client home environment.
* Some exposure to communicable diseases or uncontrolled situations.
* Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift up to 25 lbs, and transport loads up to 40 lbs.
