Senior Full Stack Engineer (Hybrid – Lake Mary, FL)
Compensation: $140k–$150k base
Experience: Ideally 5–9 years (8+ listed in responsibilities)
We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who can design and develop scalable applications end-to-end—from modern frontend interfaces to cloud-based backend services. You’ll help shape technical decisions, mentor engineers, and deliver high-impact software for complex, data-driven environments.
Hybrid Requirement: Minimum 3 days onsite per week in the Lake Mary, FL office.
Team Preferences: Longer tenures, SaaS or product-focused environments, strong alignment with required technologies.
Requirement: Candidates must have Java experience (team will not consider candidates without Java). AWS experience is also required.
What You’ll Do
Partner with Product, Business Operations, and customer-facing teams to understand requirements
Design and build scalable full-stack applications and APIs
Develop responsive, modern React/TypeScript frontends
Build backend services with strong test coverage
Optimize database queries and manage complex relational data
Architect, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS
Write and maintain automated unit and integration tests
Contribute to cross-team collaboration and technical decision-making
Mentor junior engineers and uphold engineering best practices
Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards
What We’re Looking For
8+ years software engineering experience
Expertise in a strongly typed backend language: Java required (Scala, Kotlin, C#, or TS also acceptable)
Strong React + modern JavaScript/TypeScript experience
Advanced SQL experience (PostgreSQL preferred):
Complex joins & subqueries
CTEs
Query optimization
Hands-on AWS experience with:
EC2 or ECS
CloudFront
ELB
S3
IAM
Strong testing experience (unit & integration)
Experience with distributed systems or microservices
Solid understanding of software engineering best practices
Preferred
Terraform or other IaC tools
End-to-end testing (e.g., Cypress)
Docker/Kubernetes
CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Experience in high-traffic production environments
