About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Foreman – Low Voltage Structured Cabling to support installation projects across the Tri-County area. This role is responsible for leading jobsite execution, coordinating installation teams, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge of structured cabling systems along with leadership experience in field environments.

Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret engineering drawings and equipment specifications
Plan jobsite activities and determine required materials and tools
Lead and direct installers, apprentices, and subcontractors on-site
Install and terminate fiber, CAT6/CAT6A, and coaxial cabling
Build and install IDF/MDF closets including racks, patch panels, and hardware
Perform IDC terminations, patch panels, and splitter installations
Conduct testing including continuity, Fluke testing, OTDR fault detection, and power meter testing
Troubleshoot cabling issues including shorts, opens, and cross pairs
Perform fiber splicing using fusion splicing equipment
Maintain updated project documentation and as-built drawings
Communicate directly with project leadership regarding progress or concerns
Support installation of power units, circuits, and related infrastructure
Follow and enforce company safety standards and OSHA compliance

Additional Responsibilities
Climb ladders (up to 12 ft) and occasionally work from scaffolding
Lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Track daily work activity and report updates to project leadership
Maintain professional client-facing communication on job sites
Support continued learning of new technologies and systems

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
BICSI Technician Certification highly preferred
Valid Driver’s License required
Strong ability to read technical documentation
Comfortable using basic computer systems for documentation and reporting
Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Travel

Most projects are local within the Tri-County area, with occasional out-of-town travel possible.
