Job Summary
A well-established law firm in Miami, FL is seeking a Senior Financial Systems Analyst to support and enhance its financial systems environment. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for an experienced financial systems professional with deep hands-on expertise in Aderant Expert, SQL Server, reporting, integrations, and financial data analytics.
The Senior Financial Systems Analyst will serve as a key subject-matter expert working closely with Finance, Accounting, Billing, and IT teams to ensure financial systems operate reliably, efficiently, and accurately. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, SSRS reports, dashboards, KPIs, and financial reporting tools.
- Support, configure, and enhance Aderant Expert in the Sierra cloud, including billing, collections, time entry, financial modules, security, workflows, rules, and forms.
- Ensure financial data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across Aderant and integrated applications.
- Troubleshoot complex financial systems issues, reporting discrepancies, data problems, and integration concerns.
- Participate in upgrades, patches, new module implementations, system enhancements, testing, deployment, and third-party integrations.
- Document system specifications, data mapping, workflows, procedures, and troubleshooting steps while identifying opportunities to automate and improve processes.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $100,000 to $120,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Develop SQL-based financial reporting, SSRS reports, dashboards, KPIs, and ad hoc analysis for Finance, Accounting, Billing, and leadership teams.
- Support and administer Aderant Expert, including configuration, troubleshooting, security, workflows, rules, forms, and integrated financial applications.
- Participate in financial systems modernization projects, upgrades, implementations, testing, and process optimization initiatives.
- Partner with business and technical teams to translate financial reporting and operational requirements into functional system solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 8 years of experience supporting financial systems in a law firm or professional services environment.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Aderant Expert, including configuration, support, customization, and integrations.
- Strong proficiency with SQL Server, stored procedures, SSRS, data modeling, and financial reporting.
- Experience with data warehouse initiatives, ETL pipelines, optimized data models, and financial application data structures.
- Proficiency with Aderant customization tools, including Classic, Framework, and DocuDraft.
- Proven ability to support integrated legal financial systems.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- High attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Aderant Expert in the Sierra cloud environment.
- Experience with profitability analysis, financial dashboards, KPI reporting, and executive-level financial reporting.
- Background working closely with Finance, Accounting, Billing, IT, and vendor teams on enterprise financial systems projects.
- Experience improving financial workflows, automating manual processes, and enhancing system performance.
