Senior Financial Analyst

Position Summary
AppleOne is recruiting a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our clients’ finance team. This role is pivotal in driving strategic decision-making through advanced financial analysis across key operational areas. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in financial statement interpretation, inventory valuation, sales performance metrics, and market trend evaluation within the homebuilding or real estate development industry.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct advanced financial statement analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
• Perform detailed inventory analysis, including valuation, turnover, and forecasting for construction materials and housing units.
• Analyze sales data across communities and regions to assess performance, pricing strategies, and buyer behavior.
• Lead market analysis initiatives to evaluate competitive positioning, product demand, and macroeconomic impacts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, sales, and construction to align financial insights with business goals.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Prepare executive-level reports and presentations summarizing key financial insights and recommendations.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
• 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, preferably in real estate, construction, or manufacturing.
• Proficiency in financial modeling tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards).
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong communication skills and ability to present complex data to non-financial stakeholders.
• Pay range of $110K to $150K plus benefits.
