We are seeking a **Senior Financial Analyst** to support a large-scale **general ledger modernization initiative**. This role will focus on updating financial reporting structures, enhancing data models, and ensuring alignment with new data dimensions across reporting and planning tools.
**About the Role:**
**Location:** McLean, VA OR Richmond, VA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
**Duration:** Contract through 11/20/2026 (potential extension)
**Start Date:** Target mid-May (pending background clearance)
This is a highly impactful role ideal for someone with strong **financial reporting, FP&A, and EPM system experience** who thrives in fast-paced, transformation-driven environments.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Design, build, and modify **cube views** for financial reporting and modeling.
* Configure reporting properties (POV, filters, formatting, row/column structures).
* Update and develop **spreadsheet templates** aligned with new GL data structures.
* Pull and integrate data from EPM tools (e.g., OneStream).
* Develop reporting tools to support senior leadership decision-making.
* Manage deliverables under tight timelines and shifting priorities.
* Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
**Required Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s Degree (Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred).
* 2+ years of experience in financial reporting or analysis.
* 1+ year of experience with an **EPM tool** (OneStream, Hyperion, or similar).
* Strong Excel / spreadsheet skills (Excel or Google Sheets).
* Foundational accounting knowledge.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* 3+ years of financial reporting experience.
* FP&A experience.
* Experience in financial services or large enterprise environments.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
