Job Summary

A growing organization in the manufacturing sector is seeking a Senior FP&A Manager to join its Finance team in Los Angeles, CA. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a data-driven finance leader who enjoys turning complex financial and operational data into strategic business insights.

The Senior FP&A Manager will play a highly visible role supporting executive leadership, global operations, annual planning, forecasting, long-range modeling, and business performance analysis. Key Responsibilities

- Lead annual budgeting, monthly and quarterly forecasting, and long-range financial planning across multiple business functions.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models to support strategic planning, operational analysis, pricing decisions, product launches, and market expansion.
- Perform budget-to-actual variance analysis and communicate financial trends, risks, opportunities, and recommendations to leadership.
- Partner with department leaders to align financial plans with business priorities and improve decision-making across global operations.
- Prepare executive and board-level presentations, dashboards, and performance reports that translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, and standardization of FP&A processes, systems, reporting tools, and financial analytics.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $160,000 to $180,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Lead annual planning, forecasting, budgeting, and long-range financial modeling initiatives.
- Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support executive decision-making and business strategy.
- Partner with operational and department leaders to analyze performance, margins, pricing, investments, and growth opportunities.
- Prepare executive-level reporting, financial presentations, dashboards, and business insights.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or a related finance function.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting, variance analysis, and quantitative analysis skills.
- Ability to interpret financial and operational data and communicate clear recommendations to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen with experience supporting strategic initiatives, operational planning, and performance management.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Results-oriented mindset with a high level of integrity, accuracy, and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications

- MBA preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, technology, medical device, or another fast-paced growth-oriented environment.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization and business intelligence tools.
- Experience with product cost modeling, pricing analysis, margin analysis, or related financial planning activities.
- Background supporting new product launches, market expansion, acquisitions, investments, or strategic business initiatives.
