A leading industrial electrical contractor is seeking an Estimator to support high-complexity infrastructure projects (Water/Wastewater). You will manage the full bid process, from technical takeoffs to final budget development.
Requirements
Experience: 5+ years for Estimator; 10+ years for Senior Estimator.
Software: McCormick Estimating Software proficiency is required.
Expertise: Industrial electrical systems, P&IDs, control schematics, and medium/low voltage distribution.
Advanced Skills (Senior): Experience with CMAR, Design-Build, and productivity modeling for complex site conditions (phased shutdowns, bypass pumping).
Key Responsibilities
Perform detailed takeoffs (MCC, VFD, PLC, instrumentation, and underground duct banks).
Generate turnkey estimates including labor, material, and subcontractor pricing.
Develop vendor scopes and coordinate with specialized subcontractors (I&C, 3rd party testing).
