We are seeking a Senior Demand Planner to play a critical role in driving operational excellence within a fast-paced aerospace/manufacturing environment. This is a high-impact position for a planning expert who thrives on solving complex problems, optimizing processes, and leading teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
Location: Huntington Beach
Salary: $90,000 – $100,000
What You’ll Do
Lead the production scheduling process, balancing material availability, capacity, and customer priorities to ensure strong On-Time Delivery (OTD)
Monitor and drive key metrics including schedule adherence, inventory optimization, and lead-time reduction
Partner cross-functionally with Procurement, Operations, Quality, and Warehouse to resolve constraints and mitigate risks
Proactively identify and solve issues related to materials, labor, and capacity
Own and optimize ERP/MRP systems, ensuring accuracy in planning parameters (lead times, lot sizes, safety stock, etc.)
Facilitate schedule review meetings, providing visibility into risks, recovery plans, and key decision points
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across planning processes and systems
Mentor and develop planners, strengthening the team’s overall capability and future leadership pipeline
Communicate clearly with leadership on schedule performance, risks, and mitigation strategies
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of demand planning experience in aerospace or manufacturing environments
Strong expertise in ERP/MRP systems and master production scheduling (MPS)
Proven ability to lead teams and mentor others in a senior-level role
Deep understanding of how to interpret demand signals and translate them into effective production plans
Track record of driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency
A proactive, “go-getter” mindset with strong problem-solving skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment
