The Senior Auditor plays a key role in leading audit engagements, supporting staff development, and delivering high-quality audit services. This role is ideal for an experienced auditor who is on the cusp of progressing into a Manager position and is ready to take on increased responsibility, leadership, and client interaction. Many engagements focus on non-profit organizations.

In this role you will lead and execute audit engagements from planning through completion, perform and review audit testing, ensure compliance with applicable standards, prepare and review financial statements, audit reports, and related deliverables.

The Senior Auditor will serve as a primary point of contact for clients during engagements, mentor, train, and support staff auditors; provide feedback and guidance on performance and assist with workflow management and delegation of audit tasks.
In this role you will Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency and collaborate with managers and partners on engagement strategy and issue resolution

Qualifications & Experience
3–5 years of public accounting audit experience
Significant experience conducting audits for non-profit organizations
Strong understanding of auditing standards and accounting principles
Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior staff
Proven readiness to take on responsibilities aligned with a future Manager role
Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
CPA or progress toward CPA preferred

Work Environment & Schedule
No travel required
Onsite work required initially
Transition to a hybrid schedule after onboarding, with 3 days per week in the office
