We are currently seeking a highly qualified Senior Accountant/Contracts Manager. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $50.00–$55.00. The successful candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred) and will have a minimum of five years of relevant experience, including expertise in federal contracts, budgeting, and auditing. Proven experience in managing accounting functions and leading teams is required, and familiarity with ADP/ADP Total Source payroll and HR management systems, as well as Deltek project-based accounting and financial management software, is strongly preferred.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of federal compliance, contract management, and fiscal reviews, in addition to demonstrated expertise in project-level budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. This position requires exceptional problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and the ability to resolve complex financial matters independently. Proficiency with accounting software, Excel, and project management tools is essential, along with outstanding organizational and communication skills necessary to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. The ability to manage, train, and develop a high-performing accounting team is also required. While the role demands a high degree of independence, the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment is equally important. Remote, but MUST RESIDE IN CA.
