Job Title: Senior Accountant, Audit
Location: Raleigh, NC 27615
Salary range: $80,000-$90,000/yr.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with Audit experience (CPA license desired) to join an established CPA firm, working on small-to-medium assurance engagements including audit, review, compilations, examinations. This person will also review junior staff audit work to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• In charge of small-to-medium assurance engagements including audit, review, compilations, examinations.
• Assist audit manager with large assurance engagements.
• Prepare financial statements accurately and efficiently.
• Research and document appropriate GAAP treatment of items in financial statements.
• Preparation of form 990.
• Assist needed with tax preparation, managing client projects and due dates list.
• Assessing and improving the firm's processes.
• Supervising and training staff on their audit work.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• 3-5 years of accounting experience within a CPA firm required.
• North Carolina CPA license; current, or in progress.
• Proficiency with Thomson Reuters, Advance Flow, Checkpoint Engage, Practice, Ultra Tax, Planner or similar related software).
• Proficiency with MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Excellent communication, detail orientation, and organizational skills.
