We are seeking a Senior Accountant for a direct hire opportunity in Tucson, AZ with an established organization in the accounting and auditing services industry. This role is ideal for an experienced CPA who is ready to take ownership of complex accounting responsibilities, support financial reporting accuracy, and partner with leadership on key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee key accounting functions, financial processes, and reporting activities.
- Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements, accounting reports, and supporting schedules.
- Perform account reconciliations and help ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including analysis, adjustments, and documentation.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights that support leadership decision-making.
- Assist with audits, tax-related activities, compliance requirements, and process improvement initiatives.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $95,000 to $115,000 per year.
- Direct hire opportunity.

- Manage accounting operations and financial reporting processes.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reconciliations, and accounting reports.
- Support month-end close, year-end close, audits, tax activities, and compliance requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting controls, processes, and reporting efficiencies.
- Active CPA designation required.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience required.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and applicable accounting standards.
- Demonstrated experience preparing and analyzing financial statements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial judgment skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership and internal teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in accounting and auditing services or a closely related professional services environment.
- Experience supporting audits, tax-related reporting, and financial compliance activities.
- Background improving accounting processes, internal controls, or reporting workflows.
- Ability to partner with leadership and provide meaningful financial insights beyond standard reporting.
