Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for a direct hire opportunity in Tucson, AZ. This role is ideal for a mature, detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys working closely with executive leadership and contributing to the financial health and growth of an organization.
The Senior Accountant will partner with the Controller, CFO, General Manager, and operations leadership to support monthly financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, budgeting, KPI analysis, and accounting process improvement. The right candidate will bring strong financial accounting experience, excellent organizational skills, advanced Excel capability, and the ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist the Controller with timely preparation of monthly financial statements and related reporting requirements.
• Reconcile company balance sheets, prepare month-end adjusting entries, and maintain organized supporting documentation.
• Support budgeting activities by collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data and recommending plans.
• Collaborate with department managers to ensure accounting guidelines are followed and financial needs are supported.
• Analyze and report financial information and company KPIs, including operational data from Service Titan.
• Help develop accounting policies, procedures, and internal processes while ensuring compliance with legal guidelines and established accounting principles.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary: $75,000 to $85,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
Primary duties and projects for this role include:
• Preparing monthly financial reporting and supporting month-end close activities.
• Reconciling balance sheets and preparing adjusting journal entries.
• Supporting budgets, financial analysis, and KPI reporting.
• Partnering with leadership and department managers on accounting processes and financial needs.
Required qualifications and skills include:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or an equivalent major required.
• 5 or more years of financial accounting experience required.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, adjusting entries, and financial reporting.
• Moderate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
• Ability to prioritize work, manage expectations, and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and documentation.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision while collaborating positively with others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write professional letters and memos with proper grammar and spelling.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately secure sensitive financial information.
• Professional, dependable, results-oriented approach with strong interpersonal and customer focus skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Intacct preferred, but not required.
• Experience with Service Titan preferred, but not required.
• Prior experience working closely with executive leadership, controllers, operations managers, or department leaders.
• Experience supporting budgeting, KPI reporting, policy development, or process improvement in a growing organization.
