A well-established and respected real estate and storage management company in Monterey Park is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity with a clear succession plan to grow into a Controller role.

Position Overview
The Senior Accountant will independently own the month-end close process across multiple entities within a real estate and storage operating structure. This individual must be detail-oriented, organized, and confident managing full-cycle accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities
Own and manage full month-end and year-end close processes
Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and exception analysis
Manage intercompany allocations between management company and property entities
Maintain audit-ready documentation and organized support files
Ensure adherence to Chart of Accounts and internal standard operating procedures
Identify, research, and resolve accounting discrepancies
Utilize QuickBooks Online and leverage automation/AI tools to improve efficiency

Qualifications
5–10 years of progressive accounting experience
5+ years of QuickBooks Online experience (required)
Multi-entity and intercompany accounting experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
Ability to work full-time on-site in Monterey Park

Preferred Qualifications
Property management or real estate accounting experience
Strong process improvement mindset
Experience incorporating automation or AI tools into accounting workflows
