We’re seeking a Senior Accountant to partner with the CFO and oversee financial reporting, WIP/project accounting, and California compliance within a growing construction organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead month-end close and full balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and support audits
- Maintain WIP schedule using Percentage of Completion (POC)
- Reconcile over/under billings and monitor project profit fade
- Ensure accurate change order accounting in ERP (Syspro)
- Oversee lien notices, waiver compliance, and CA Sales & Use Tax filings
- Maintain internal controls and the three-way match process across AP/AR/Receiving
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance or Business
- 3+ years of construction/contracting accounting experience
- Knowledge of CA lien laws and waiver forms
- Advanced Excel and construction ERP experience
- Ability to communicate financial insights to project teams

Must have Accounting experience in the constructions industry
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
Advanced Excel and Construction ERP experience
