Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing organization. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a deep understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical abilities, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to process improvement and accuracy across all financial functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage general ledger activities, reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and all relevant tax, audit, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams to provide financial insights.
Lead or assist in audits and work closely with external auditors.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and support implementation of best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger and financial reporting.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial analysis.
Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior staff.
