We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join a growing company in Bakery Square. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial records, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses.
- Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts.
- Assist with external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and documentation.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational efficiency.
- Support tax filings and regulatory reporting requirements.

Qualifications of the Senior Accountant:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 3–5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
