Senior Accountant – Manufacturing (Multi-Entity Environment)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to join our growing manufacturing team. This role will support accounting operations across multiple entities and play a key part in financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement. The ideal candidate is hands-on, adaptable, and confident in managing complex accounting functions in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across multiple entities.
Prepare, review, and reconcile journal entries, general ledger accounts, and financial statements.
Perform bank reconciliations, cash management, and intercompany reconciliations.
Support month-end and year-end close, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.
Assist with financial audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
Develop and maintain accounting processes, internal controls, and documentation for multi-entity operations.
Utilize advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) to analyze financial data and provide reporting insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making.
Step in to provide support in other accounting areas as needed (except payroll).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
4–6 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing or multi-entity organizations.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar).
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
