This Senior Accountant Position Features:

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Assist with the preparation of management reports and variance analysis.
• Manage and oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and analysis.
• Review and reconcile bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Execute all Accounts Payables tasks (Invoice key in, check printing and electronic payment processing and AP Aging management.
• Understand all Accounts receivable tasks and work besides Jr Bookkeeper to make sure their tasks are completed daily.
• Double checking import folder costing and complete Receipt of Goods into ERP system.
• Work beside controller to train new accounting staff on Jr Bookkeeping task.
• Manage accounting document filing and annual archiving.
• Assist with physical inventory account reconciliation and updating
• Act as backup to Controller to oversea all accounting tasks when controller is preoccupied with higher level tasks or on vacation.
• Assist with the preparation of tax filings and regulatory compliance documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years of progressive accounting experience. Preferably in warehouse distribution industries.
Technical Skills
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP).
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial modeling.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
